Did your computer come with OS reinstall CDs? If so, put the CD in the CD drive and reboot from the CD. If not, you must use the recovery partition of the hard drive. To choose an alternate boot device such as a CD or the recovery partition, press one of the function keys at boot--the device selection is often F12. The Windows selection key is always F8.

if you do not care about legal issues you can download your os from a torrent tracker or a newer one, i like the pirate bay because its free, burn to a dvd using gBurner it can be found on cnet.com. then boot in to it when you turn on your computer.
