PSP Updating Problem - PLEASE HELP!

The bellow message appears when i am trying to update my PSP from version 3.11 to 3.80. Can you please advise me what can i do?
"The system configuration of this PSP system does not appear to be correct. The update cannot be completed. Contact technical support for
assistance.    Error Code: (DRNFFFFFFD7)"

While trying to fix this we restarted the system therefore downgrading it to a lower firmware. We still cant update it to a version lower then 3.80. This is really annoying me and PSP support aren't really much help :l I'm desperate for answers!

Ok in left my psp charging for 3 days the green light turns on but the screen does not it stays black and my friend was updating my psp the he sayed that the battery fell then it turned off and it does not...

Ok it sounds as if your friend has bricked your PSP. Please be careful when you are updating your PSP as this will brick your PSP. Let me give you a quick overview of what happens when your PSP updates, first of all your PSP will erase it's operating system and write a new Operating system, this is why it will not turn on completely if you lose power while it's updating. ONLY UPDATE YOUR PSP IF IT'S COMPLETELY CHARGED AND PLUGGED IN FOR SAFETY REASONS. I will not post the solution to this problem for it is too long to post up here, YouTube has many videos on how to un-brick your PSP. Best of luck, for the solution you can email me at

I cant put games on my psp slim

if you have downloaded the firmware from the internet, that is really not advisable. it would be best to go the nearest gaming zone for updating firmware.
some firmware are not compatible and not updated. downgrade your firmware to a more stable firmware.

My PSP can't read ISO file

You'll need install custom firmware on your psp, the latest cfw update is 5.01m33-3, You can find it by googling or see at my blog here!. how to create pandora - magic stick.

To change your psp from official firmware you'll need pandora - magic stick (latest update DC7 - 4.01m33) for downgrading and install cfw, because since high kernel released, cfw can be installing from 1.50 OF fat(old model) psp.. and 3.60 for slim psp as startingpoint.

Hopefully this help, Pls post back should you need additional information, and also Show your Appreciation, to help other USER.

PSP wont turn on

That's problem occurs when there is some problem with the firmware, and any some process under psp has running. you'll need pandora battery to solved the problem. when using pandora, you can go into service mode of your psp, then downgrading your psp back to default setting. what type of your psp? Slim or phat?
