Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
The bellow message appears when i am trying to update my PSP from version 3.11 to 3.80. Can you please advise me what can i do?
"The system configuration of this PSP system does not appear to be correct. The update cannot be completed. Contact technical support for
assistance. Error Code: (DRNFFFFFFD7)"
While trying to fix this we restarted the system therefore downgrading it to a lower firmware. We still cant update it to a version lower then 3.80. This is really annoying me and PSP support aren't really much help :l I'm desperate for answers!

Tips for a great answer:
Ok it sounds as if your friend has bricked your PSP. Please be careful when you are updating your PSP as this will brick your PSP. Let me give you a quick overview of what happens when your PSP updates, first of all your PSP will erase it's operating system and write a new Operating system, this is why it will not turn on completely if you lose power while it's updating. ONLY UPDATE YOUR PSP IF IT'S COMPLETELY CHARGED AND PLUGGED IN FOR SAFETY REASONS. I will not post the solution to this problem for it is too long to post up here, YouTube has many videos on how to un-brick your PSP. Best of luck, for the solution you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
