\how do I reset the router to restore security

But, in the meantime, to set the router back to factory defaults (meaning you will have to reconfigure the security settings). Look for a very small hole in the back of the router. It may be labeled "reset". Take a paper clip, insert it into the hole and gently push and hold for about 30 seconds.

there is a reset swtich available in the router try that. or put the cd and reinstall or reboot the default configuration

to reset the unit you have a botton on the back bush it for a few seco. and that will reset the unit back...
