Question about Zanussi ZEBF250W Bottom Freezer Refrigerator

1 Answer

Zanussi 920/g R

I have a Zanussi bottom-freezer refrigerator which has been malfunctioning for a few months now. The freezer seems to work ok, but the refrigerator part does not cool unless I turn up the thermostat beyond the middle point (beyond 4 out of 6). Once I turn up the refrigerator, the freezer ices up far too much. Many thanks.

Hi i have a zanussi zi 918\12k fridge freezer. the fridge is warm and the freezer is not working 100%. any ideas?

You more than likely have a bad relay or capacitor. Hopefully it is not the compressor. You may want to consider replacing it if is more than 10-12 years old. The other possibility is there is a leak in the freon.

Freezer is gurgling all the time!

The Freezer is probably stuck with ICE, if you are able to c the ice, try to get it out, if not, that ask a local electrician, they should know how.

(This happens when freezer is left open and/or opened every second)

I have a zanussi ZI 920/9K and the fridge has water under the salad drawer every day but the drain hole is not blocked - what else might it be?

two solutions
1...a door seal leak
2...you are puting food in that is warm or not covered and its the condensation from these that collects on the shinny surface of the salad drawer.....
remember, every time you open the door warm air from the kitchen replaces the cold air inside the fridge,it does not dry the air like a dehumidifier....
hence water droplets gather.....

Zanussi Electrolux frost free fridge/freezer - freezer defrosting

My husband left the freezer door open a couple of months ago, causing ice to form. The loud rattling noise was the fan hitting the ice. The reason why the temperature started to rise but the noise stopped was because the fan had got stuck in a block of ice and was no longer working. Simple solution - defrost the freezer for 24 hours. Touch wood, it is all working fine now!

Power light flashing on & off

Try to unplug and plug the power cord this may help, flashes is an error code. Try also the defrosting, error codes alarm the owner if there are some abnormal operation int the unit.
