I HAVE A 15 INCH TYPE R DUAL VOICE COIL AND WAS TOLD IT WAS BLOWN I BELEIVE NOT HOW DO YOU KNOW FOR SURE??? AND IS IT SUPPOSE TO BE IN A SEALED BOX OR A PORTTED BOX ???

if the cone can be pushed in with ease it is probably not blown, it would have taken alot to blow one of those to begin with.
the box you put it in depends on what sound you are looking for, if you want faster response (for techno and fast paced music) a sealed box would be best. but if you are looking for something slower and deeper then you want a ported box.
being a 15 inch i would suggest a sealed box.
