Nothing!!:) They are both dual core cpus but core2due are the intel brand and dual core are the amd ones. Intel are the top ones just now if you are into overclocking but some of the amd ones are better if you are not.

hope this helps?

Intel lga775 motherboard drivers dul cpu e2140

E2180 and E2140 should be installed in a "Socket 775" motherboard. Go to the website of the manufacturer/brand name of the motherboard and click on Support. Locate your exact model of motherboard and click on Download drivers. Then select which operating system you are using (example: Windows XP or Windows 7 64-bit, etc.) There will be a list of necessary drivers for you to download and install. The motherboard manufacturer always has the drivers for their brand name.

DX 11 GPU'S

well 1st of all the DX 10 and DX 11 means the directx versions, well mostly cards run the games with uper version cards but some details are missing. well i had a dx 9 card and run a dx 10 game but some graphics were unavailible like decals and paintings on the walls etc,

2ndly the CPU requirement is not for the graphics these are for the system files and audio files to be process. and the GPU works only for Graphics. well i had a experience where i have a strong card but low system. but the problem was with the sound ... the game was prototype and the system was pentium 4 and required was dual core. my card was double the power that required for the game graphics work fine but the sound was breaking due to low CPU.

Hope that answers the question

Sytem fan is kaput

You geetin a false readin how can core 0 being a diffrent then core 1 when there the same waffer this is funny as all get out.. The ystem fan on this unit would be just below the power supply fan if you have one. If you do not have one then there will be little round holes there and you could look right into the case that means there is not fans present, Some manufactures do not power up the fan using the motherboard the piggy back it off one of the drive power cables thus you will get no reading at all Hence the sensor will not sense that there is a actual fan connected. If you where at 128 C you would burn the cpu you probably talking Fahrenheit? Anyway to remedy any situation you would need to buy a fan and put it where there is a place to put it in you case and plug it into the motherboard it should say FAN 1 etc etc.. Good luck

Which is a better processor?

The AMD Phenom x4 is actually cheaper with 4 cpu cores compaired to Core 2 duo which has 2 cpu cores, you will get a better deal for less money on a AMD x4.

Heres a chart you can look at
http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/desktop-cpu-charts-q3-2008/3DMark-Vantage-CPU,817.html

I just got myself the AMD Phenom 9650 for 150usd
The core 2 duo e6600, which I would recommend from the core duo series costs around 200 usd.

Note that the Duo only has 2 cpu cores. You get double the power on a phenom 4x with 4 cpu cores
So the phenom is definitely the best choise! (double the power for 50usd less)

Anything else?
