A vertical black bar appears on the screen lately. it comes and goes. but sometime stays on the screen for hours.Our plasma tv is 3 years old, how can we fix this problem ?? Thanks, Ricardo
I have a 42" lg hd tv that for some reason has just started to have a 1" line down the center of the screen . we noticed this a few months ago but didn't know what to do . lately the tv has stoped doing this , mind you i checked every since and its seems to be fine , today i turned it on and the line has moved from the middle to 3/4 of the screen to the right -- so like in the middle the colours fade in and out of the line especially blues and oranges for some reason --

I have a black vertical bar that is about 1" wide. Sometimes it has a red line that disappears when TV is warmed up
i have the same proublem, stats out looking like a bar code then changes multi color, then black, the sound remains clear and sharp

folks at Philips and they suggested i upgrade to the latest firmware
before going further. went to their website, got the file, updated the
firmware and the problem went away.. for a few days. i would love a
permanent fix to this
four inch wide black bar on the up the right side of the screen. thin blue line running inside. picture and sound are otherwise fine.
