Problem for Mitsubishi WD-62525 62 in. Rear Projection HDTV Television

I cannot connect my Direct TV DVR to a Mitsubishi

i cannot connect my Direct TV DVR to a Mitsubishi TV WD-62525. Under DBS/device in netcommand all i get is a blue screen. Setup under component 1 - got picture but no sound. Whay am I doing wrong?

When you hook it up to component one are you hooking up all five cables? Three for video, green, blue, and red, and two for audio, red and white.
