I have ASUS U81A-RX05. I recently started using a Dynex USB keyboard because I can't seem to adjust to the laptop's keyboard. However, now, when I'm NOT using the USB keyboard, my laptop keyboard acts as though I'm using the Fn key, but only on the u, i, o, p, j, k, l, and m keys. Therefore, I see numbers. The odd thing is, this doesn't happen when I'm hitting the C or V keys which have other functions. I tried the Fn+F11 key combo suggested above, but that did NOT solve my problem. Can anyone help me?

- I found the answer. I had to press Fn and then NumLock. Sure would be nice if there was something that explained what these special Fn key options do!Nov 08, 2009
- Tap Fn, then Insert. This key combo is "NumLk", which toggles the keyboards letters to be used as a numeric keypad.
