Problem for Whirlpool GEW9250 Electric Dryer

Duet Dryer control panel will not respond or turn

Duet Dryer control panel will not respond or turn on, tech said I need a new dial because the old one is slipping. He said the dryer is acting funny because the dial is slipping and it is getting stuck in between cycles. I put new dial on dryer and now the control panel will not turn on. How do I get the panel to respond or reset it?
