My Dell DJ MP3 player doesn't allow sound to come

My Dell DJ MP3 player doesn't allow sound to come out of both earphones unless you hold the plug, (otherwise it only comes out one side.) I have tried several headphones both brand new and used and they all have the same issue. How can/do I take it apart to fix this? Thank You
