I have a danby microwave and I was cooking popcorn and the popcorn burnt then the microwave powered off. Is this a safety device?

-   the timer finished, my food was the desired tempurature, but the fuse was blown. Replaced, but microwave was toast. any fixes? or do i need a new microwave? -   endweeks

Check if your fuse is still ok. If the fuse is gone replace and see if it is working.
