Problems with Onkyo DR-S2.2

When I turn on my Onkyo DR-S2 it come on and then turns off and the power button blinks off and on
I have the same problem
I know someone who can solve this problem

So is there a way to get the stereo to work again?

I have this problem. The receiver is well ventilated and on an expensive Belkin AV Master surge protector / voltage regulator. I don't expect heat or uneven power to be the source of the problem.

I am trying to hook me DR-S2.2 receiver up with some existing speakers I found in my new house, but can't seem to get the center speaker to work. What mode does it have to be in so I can see if the center speaker works?

sounds like you have uneven flow of electricity. Try to plug the receiver in its own power socket

also make sure it has plenty of clearance for airflow b/c the receiver is shutting down to stop further damage of the receiver either b/c of heat or power surges.
