I've had 4 LinkSys routers over the past 4 years. 2 were 4 port wired, the other two were 4 port wired with wireless. In each case they worked for a while, would sometimes drop connections, but then reconnect. Eventually the WAN (uplink) ports fail. The cable-modem works if I connect my lap-top or towers directly to it. Both wired and wireless ports continue to function. Its just the uplinks that fail. No visible indications of a problem. The lights look good on the cable-modem and the router. Nothing makes sense as to why these ports would all fail. The most recent one lasted 33 days. This one I bought replacement service on it and WILL be replacing it. Any ideas on why these are failing?

Don't buy this model it sucks! Why doesn't someone start a class action suite against Cisco if they won't come up with a fix and recall it to fix the problems it has. Mine is less than thirty feet in my office from my laptop, no metal walls, just a conventionaly constructed home. WTF?
