how do I connect a sony cd/dvd player to a onkyo receiver model Tx-SR600 to a Mitsubishi big screen TV model no. WS-65411 . I cannot get a picture for the dvd when I turn on the player I have sound coming out of my speakers.

- I have three cable connected together one red, one yellow and one white. I have the the pluged into the back of the dvd player and the three pluged into the receiver. only get sound and no pictureSolution #1

If your using compsite cables, Yellow , Red and White cables the red and white is sound you connect to reciever, then yellow to the coposite in on the Tv Screen. If it is a HDMI cable connect to Tv Screen not Reciever. What cables are you using?
