I have an older clifford alarm arrow 3. Intermittently it will unlock and lock the doors as I'm driving. Twice the alarm has sounded while driving. I pulled into the driveway last night. Turned the truck off, moved the other vehicle out of the garage so I could pull the truck in for repairs and the truck would not start. The system had disabled the ignition again! This is the third time. I tried putting the key in the ignition and pressing the remote as the manual suggests to override the system, but this time it did not work. HELP!

it is unlikely that the light is causing the battery to drain. it sounds like the system is in valet mode, if it's an older Clifford with a two button keypad somewhere (typically on the dash), turn ignition on, and press the * button twice, then press and hold the blank button.
if it's a newer Clifford system (Clifford Matrix), locate the valet button, then turn the key to ignition (ON), then off and press and release the valet button.
Assuming that all is well with the vehicle's electrical system (fuses, etc...), the following should work, as Viper/Clifford uses the "fail safe" method of starter disable, and it only works to lock out the starter when the alarm is functioning properly and in the armed state.
That system has a "starter kill" system. When the alarm is actived, the starter kill is engages, and won't let the starter get voltage from the ignition switch. First thing I'd try is connecting the car's battery while the ignition key is turned to the "on/run" position. Cycle the alarm to arm, then disarm, so that the LED is not blinking. It also may require using the manual override button/switch (with the key on) to reset the alarm. Should start after that.
If all else fails, reconnecting the starter wires back together (they are spliced and running through the alarm via a SPDT relay.
look in the phone book, (YES) the phone book and see if there's an alarm dealer around you that is an authorized dealer for clifford they should be able to assist you.
Find where your fuel pump relay is and check for power there. Most alarm tech's and alarm system dis engages the fuel pump at there relay's.
Simple things to check is the fuse first then go for the relay and if everything there is working properly, it could be your alarm may have gone bad or your fuel pump it self.
If the car beeps twice when you unlock the doors, it means there is a fault in the car alarm system. Usually when this happens the red LED lights on the "door lock" button on the top r h side of the dash. Also on mine, when you try to open the passenger door the window does not drop the small amount as usual, but that may be part of my alarm problem.
System warning lamp located on top of the instrument panel Press UNLOCK button once , turns on interior lamps and deactivates alarm (if fitted) Press UNLOCK button twice w/in 5 seconds unlocks all doors, turns on interior lamp and deactivates alarm (if fitted) To activate alarm system (if fitted): Switch ignition OFF Open driver's door Press Lock button on remote Close Driver door warning lamp will flash when system is activated Press remote power sliding door button will open sliding door (if fitted) only if unlocked first Pressing remote panic button: *Sounds horn intermittently *Flashes exterior lamps *Turns on interior lamps **Pressing panic for the second time OR switching ignition ON deactivates alarm.
PROGRAMMING
Remobe key from ignition switch Remove the "BCM PRGRM" fuse, from the fuse box Close all doors Turn ignition switch to the ACC position With in 1 SECOND , turn the ignition switch to OFF then back to 'ACC' (really, with in one second)
Open and close the driver's door. A chime will sound, indicating programming mode activated Press and HOLD LOCK and UNLOCK SIMULTANEOUSLY untill a chime sounds 2 times ( about 15 seconds) Repeat this exact procedure for all remotes to be programmed Remove key from ignition Refit 'BCM PRGRM' fuse.
