Question about Emerson EWF2704 TV
Emerson model EWF2704 27' Flat screen suddenly turned off and will not come back on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Mine did the same thing, I took it to a TV repair store and they said it was a power surge which damaged the power source board. (possibly caused by lightening)
total cost to repair was $70.00 well worth since was only couple years old.
TV is working well.------we'll see for how long????

The problem with your television appears to be in the high voltage power supply or the low voltage power supply. The set tries to come on but the shutdown circuitry turns the TV off. The shutdown circuit is a protective measure put into place to prevent overcurrent and overvoltage conditions by shutting down the TV when these conditions exist. If you do not have a background in electronics, might I suggest that you have a TV technician to come to your location and work on the TV.
I hope this helps
