I changed the heater coil in my whirlpool estate dryer and it still does not get hot, what else could be wrong

Using a volt/ohm meter check the thermal fuse on the top left side of the heater canister for continuity. If no continuity replace the thermal fuse and the hi limit thermostat on the bottom of the heater canister.
These parts come as a set.
If I had a model number i could be more specific.
