You will need a coffee can, clear hose that fits snugly over the bleeder screw and a 3/8 or 7/16 open end wrench. Find the bleeder screw on the oil pump. It will look like a grease fitting or brake line bleeder screw. Put the clear hose on and put the open end in the coffee can. Start the burner by making sure the door switch is closed and the red reset button is depressed. As the furnace starts, open the bleeder screw and watch the pink fuel as it goes into the can. Your primary control will trip after a few seconds (15-45). Close the bleeder. Reset the primary control, you may need to let the control sit for a minute or you may need to hold the button down for a minute to reset the control (each control is different). Then start the furnace and open the bleeder. You are looking for a good flow of oil with no bubbles. If you do this more than 3 times, you have an air leak in the suction line somewhere or low oil level.
