Hi, sounds like your drum cleaning blade has gone. Split the machine, inside in the top you should see the purple drum, which should be clean, if it is covered in black toner then it is the bladethat needs to be replaced. regards

My Kodak printer wont grab the paper in the paper tray

Amandasplace:

There is a sensor that is located where the front edge of the paper sits when you load paper. If you take all of the paper out of the feed tray and use a flashlight to look in the throat of the paper feed area, you should see a small piece of plastic (in the shape of a blade) sticking up. If you do not see that sensor flag it may be broken off, or there may be a small piece of paper jammed against the sensor flag, keeping it from moving downward when you load the paper tray. That can happen if you pull a mis-fed piece of paper out of the machine in the opposite direction that the paper normally travels when printing. When you load the paper in the machine, it pushes that sensor flag down, telling the machine that there is paper loaded. either the sensor flag is broken off or there is something jamming the paper sensor, keeping it from being pushed down by the paper.

Worgh toner was put

There may a jam in fuser area in rear of machine. Check there by opening rear door and sliding the black paper chute left and downward to look inside fuser area. Look for paper or a worn fuser such as black marks or lines on top or bottom rollers. Make sure machine is off and unplugged. The fuser gets very hot. Let cool down before attempting to view area of fuser. Do not pry out paper or objects from fuser. This may damage fuser more. Use your fingers only if possible. If there is no paper or black lines, your problem may be else where. Let me know and I may be able to help some more. Thanks!

First place an original on glass and make a copy -- mark #1. With that same original on the glass, move the exposure all the way light and make a copy -- mark #2. Again with the same original on the glass, move the exposure all the way dark and make a copy --- mark #3. Place #1 in the middle so the the copies read --- #2, #1, #3. The #2 should be the lightest and #3 being the darkest. If #2 is darker than #3 you have a developer problem and you need to call for service. If #1 and #2 are bad and #3 is a good copy your machine probably just needs a good cleaning, mainly the optics and charge units. If all 3 copies are still poor with the speckles, your are looking at the PCU ( photo conductive unit) also called the drum unit. You can order this unit online -- it is a customer replaceable item.

Copies come out of machine with huge black smudges

If the smudges are consistent, (roughly the same size and approximately in the same location on the page) it's your drum. If not it's your fuser.

Paper jam

The paper jams in the bottom because the leading edge hasn't reached the correct sensor in time, thus causing a jam message. Do a sensor test on the front panel of the printer before replacing any parts. Go into Diagnostics/Sensor test and you will see the letters across the top follwed by numbers below. Then you want to toggle the sensors located through out the paper path-usually black plastic hanging done into the tray areas. Up in output tray has black plastic hanging down-sensors. lift top cover and you can see the sensors on the left side of the top a black horseshoe shape is a sensor. This will help with the correct parts needed to be replaced.

Copying problem kyocera mita 3530

You did not specify how much of it it is NOT copying or left off.

Depends on how close to the end it is copying.
Try this make a copy of the ceiling ( open top with no documents and copy) it will give you a black sheet of paper, compare it to your copy, there is a margin of white around the black area this is because :
1- makes sure the toner is falling on the sheet
2- leaves enough room to clear out of the fuser.

Is your print falling in the white area? if so it can be adjusted but there has to be a margin of white around the paper. or it will cause jamming.

Good luck
