Formatting print server harddrive in Canon iR 400

Would like the procedure in formatting the 8GB harddrive, info such as table properties (ie. FAT 16,etc.), software to format and any instructions please.

Only seeing about 16 MB out of the possible 8,000 MB (8GB). Print server is not clearing at all. Not sure if drive is bad but able to print small jobs only, runs out of memory on the larger ones. Did a factory reset but no luck.
