At the end of SEPT I began constructing a new computer system specially designed to take on WIN 7 64 bit [i7 Core with 12GB RAM]. Once I had it built I used an older monitor to install and make sure WIN 7 64bit was up and running on this new system [the system I am trouble shooting the graphics card on and using to e-mail you with!]. The ASUS graphics card and old monitor were properly identified by Win 7 64bit and shown as compatible by Win7. I continued using the old monitor for several days while I customized and loaded my applications that I would need to make use of the new computer. Once I had done those things I then took the newer - higher resolution - monitor and swapped it with the older lower resolution monitor. On that boot up is when the new monitor went blank when the drivers loaded during the start up page splash screen. I reconnected the old monitor on the 2nd video output of the graphics card and it performed fine as previously. I even checked out the devices in Control Panel and the newer monitor was correctly identified, yet still blank. I then disabled the graphics card and rebooted - the newer monitor then performed fine on the generic windows display drivers - this is how am am currently using the system. I have used driver update from the Device Manager with the online search for new drivers selected and windows says that I already have the latest drivers and that the graphics card is working properly [I even downloaded drivers manually from the ASUS for the 260 card!!!].
