Hi,
The button to turn up the volume of my Samsung Star won't work anymore. I can still change the volume: the button to turn down the volume works, and then I can increase it through the touch-screen.
About a week ago, I dropped my phone into the water, I saved it and it worked fine afterwards - no trouble. Though, I'm not sure whether this could have affected the working of this button(?)
Has anyone had the same problem with this button (without the dropping into the water)? And does anyone have a solution - if there's something that helps, please tell!
Thanks,
Jasper
Hello Sir,
Have you tried to increase manually ?? If you are talking about the volume increasing option through the Screen then its a software problem. You can increase it via the up and down button on the left-side top area. Come to the main screen or idle screen and press the up button. If you are having problem to operate or the button is not working then its stuck or connection is loose. Please go to a Samsung dealer or Service Center to replace or repair it.
Thank you Sir,
Have a nice day.

- If I push the button to turn down the volume, I clearly hear a 'click' and I really push in something, if I use the other button, I don't hear this and it's like I'm pushing, but nothing happens (like a click or such..)
