Iphone email Only some emails are coming in on my iphone. All of them are coming in on the computer though. Just hooked up to Outlook 2007 with the email account.
It is because it is a "pop" account which means there is only one copy , use something like gmail for IMAP that allows multiple copies. POP email once accessed at one place is gone at the other .

By the sounds of it you are using Outlook 2007 or 2010 to download your email from sites like hotmail and Yahoo you need POP3 not Exchange. Exchange is a Microsoft Email server used by companies.
to remove the exchange section in outlook you need to go to the "Configuration Panel" then click on "Mail" in there you will have a profile called "Outlook" click on "Email acounts" and remove the item that says "Exchange" then click "Add " tick the box "Manually selct settings" select POP3 and add the details for your email as per their instructions
in this case what you can do
open a new mail
then clickon options then clickon how from
once you got the tab for from at the top you can typr the email address over there and then other email address in to feild
and send it
then it will got with the mailbox you want to sedn
Ok first you should install MS office 2007. It comes with Outlook 2007. It should fix any issue related to outlook.
than you can use outlook for your cox email.
Are you recieving email via Outlook 2007 on your computer? If so, then the issue more than likely resides in the settings on your phone. Please feel free to email me at tina-AT-suddenlink-DOT-com for further assistance.
Email account setup with Mail is easy. If you're setting up an email account for the first time on iPhone or iPod touch, simply touch the Mail icon on the Home screen. If you're adding an additional account with software version 2.0 or later, touch the Settings icon on the Home screen, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select Add Account.
If you're setting up a Microsoft Exchange, MobileMe, Gmail, Yahoo! or AOL account, touch the icons for those services on the Add Account screen and enter your account information. If you're setting up an email account from another provider, select Other. In software version 2.0 or later, Mail can automatically setup many popular POP and IMAP email accounts using just your email address and password.1 As Mail looks up settings that match your email account you may see a note appear that will describe any limitations you may experience in using your email account. If Mail cannot find the settings needed to setup your email account, refer to the documentation from your email provider on how to manually setup an email account.
Syncing email account settings to iPhone or iPod touch You use iTunes to sync your email account setttings to iPhone or iPod touch. iTunes supports Mail on a Mac, and Microsoft Outlook (2007 or 2003) and Outlook Express on a PC. See article "Syncing iPhone and iPod touch with your computer" for further details.
Note: Syncing email account settings to iPhone or iPod touch copies the email account setup, not the messages themselves. Whether the messages in your inbox appear on both iPhone or iPod touch and your computer depends on the type of email account you have and how it’s configured. You may need to enter your password on the device after syncing account settings.
Hi, Possibly this could be the reason. Your iPhone might have been setup with IMAP connection, and Outlook with POP3. In this case, once email is downloaded by Outlook, it will be deleted from the att.net server. So, go to Advanced in your Outlook account configuration and Select the option leave a copy on the server.
Then you will have to delete all the emails individually from your phone too.
If you have already installed SP1 for Office 2007, see hotfixes at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941275/en-us. If it still occurs, though it should not, suggest contacting support.
