Screen freezes,cannot click on anything although I can still move cursor around.Will unfreeze in about 5 minutes.

It may be Processors Time is critical. Anything programm run and complete more resources.

1. Run TaskManager, amd see your process. Find this programm, and kill her process, or her tree process.
May be viruses, or mailware...
2. Your PC its very hot: Clean cooller by procesor.
3. HardDisk is freeze system. May be, make one's appearance "bad blocks".
