I a trying to download my cd music to my psp the usb seems not to be letting it download how can i get the music on my psp

If you have a card reader on your computer, take out the memory stick from the psp and insert it into the card reader. Your computer should load the card normally and then you can transfer the music onto the card using your computer.

How to download a games to a psp version 6.10

How to Download Games onto PSP- Step 1-

Your regular PSP games will come on disc, or UMD as they are known. When you download games onto PSP however, you are going to be putting them straight onto a memory stick/card. (Some people call them memory sticks, and some people say memory cards, but they are in fact the same thing.) The standard PSP memory card of 32mb is just not going to be big enough to download games onto, PSP owners should generally get the largest one they can afford. These days you can find fairly affordable 2 or 4 gig models on Ebay and Amazon quite easily. Once you have your new memory card, you will need to format it before use. This is basically like wiping the slate clean before use, so be sure to do it.

How to Download Games onto PSP-Step 2-

You will need to locate somewhere to download the games from. There are hundreds of places online that will allow you to download games onto PSP, but unfortunately they are not all reliable-if you go to the wrong places you will encounter many problems and can even find your computer riddled with spyware after. Not good! Be sure to choose a reputable site to download PSP games from-the most reliable ones are the ones that charge a small fee upfront and then give you access to unlimited downloads.

How to Download Games onto PSP-Step-3-

Once you begin downloading to your computer, be sure to only download files that end in "PSP" or have "PSP" in the title, as they are the only files compatible. You will occasionally find that the untrustworthy sites out there will try and give all kinds of files as downloads, so be sure to double check everything before you download it. When downloading the games I save them to a little folder on my desktop called "PSP Downloads, as it's simply the easiest place!

How to Download Games onto PSP-Step 4-

Now that you have a selection of games downloaded, you will need to transfer them from your PC onto the memory card of your PSP. This is pretty simple, all you will need is an ordinary USB cable to connect the two, and the PC should then identify the PSP as some form of removable drive, like a flashdrive or removable HD. All you need to do from here is to open up the PSP using the PC and drag and drop the required files onto the PSP memory stick, much as you would with any other removable drive. When you are doing this, be sure to send the files into folders called PSP, and then GAME on your memory card. If they don't exist you will need to create them, and I would recommend using all caps.

How to Download Games onto PSP-Step 6-

Once the transfer is finished you should be able to play the games on the PSP by simply opening up the GAME menu and selecting the games from the stick. Any errors or error messages are likely to be due to incompatible firmware-this is especially true if downloading homebrew games. You may find it necessary to downgrade your PSP in order to play these homebrew games.

Hopefully this guide has helped you see that it's not that tough at all to download games onto PSP once you get the hang of it, the real trick is finding a reliable download source!

I would suggest downloading PSP games using torrents. Just go to www.thepiratebay.org and search for PSP games. You'll need to have mutorrent or some other torrent software on your computer to download the torrents with. Follow the instructions once you have the downloaded game via a torrent and you'll be good to go. Good luck.

Have version 6.35 on memory stick via network update but it wont seem to work when i go to install it it goes to a screen showing psp and wont go any further please help

Okay I'm not exactly sure how your screen looks but it might be the following:
1. Your computer/PSP didn't download the update correctly.
2. Your memory stick might be malfunctioning.

If its (1) then try:
- re-downloading it through the PSP
- re-downloading it on your computer and then putting on the memory stick again.

If it might be (2) then try:
- Another memory card and the above

HINTS:
- Follow this website http://us.playstation.com/support/systemupdates/psp/pc/index.htm
- Turn of the PSP completely before trying.
- Have the PSP charging at the time of update.

Cheers :)

P.S:
If that doesn't work can you somehow upload/take a picture of the screen it shows?

8gb memory card corrupted.

If its cost a lot, it should have warranty. Go and ask for a replace. 7.63 GB is ok for a 8 GB card. cz, file system itself takes some space.

But i dont think the card is still good.

Dont know how to download pictures

You can do it one of 3 ways.
1- Use the sony media manager and connect to your computer using usb cord. Sony Media manager found here- http://www.us.playstation.com/psn/mediamanager?LC-lps&FTTR=PSP_mediamanager_bottomleft_mediamanagerdetailpage
2- Connect PSP to computer using USB cord, then go under my computer, and select the psp memory card(whatever its called). Then make a folder titled "PICTURE", and drag pics from your computer into your folder.
3- Over the internet on your psp. Go find an image on internet, put cursor over it, then click triangle. Go to file, then save image. That will download the image to your psp memory card

I wanna know how to download pictures into psp

There are several ways to do this.
The first way is to plug it into your PC via USB "A" to USB 4pin then setting your PSP on the "USB" setting by going to the main menu and going all the way to the left then all the way up.
The second way is to take your memory card out of the memory card slot (on the left side) and put it into a card reader slot.
Once you have the memory card connected to the PC, by either way above, you then go to "my computer" and click on the new device it has found, this is your memory card.  Click on the folder called PSP then click on "Photo" and copy all your photos into the folder.
