Problem for Dell Dimension 3100 PC Desktop
Dageezer sdays the LG GH22 dvd writer is a sata
Dageezer says the LG GH22 dvd writer is a sata device but I cant get a sata cable to connect anywhere - help I cant get it to read.

Can't get the 15-pin power cable to connect, or the 7-pin Data cable? Looking at the back of the LG GH22 series optical drives, the 15-pin power connector goes to the Left side. It can only go in, in one direction. (You may have it upside down) The 7-pin Data cable goes to the right of the power cable connection. (There are two SATA headers on the Dell Dimension 3100 motherboard. They are located right next to the long 40-pin connector. (This connector is right on the edge of the motherboard. Orientation: The processor is on the top. Down on the bottom Right, are the SATA headers. Header = Connector when referring to a connector on a motherboard)
