- hey, thanx for your reply my mic used to work fine with my old pc but I got me a new one with the gigabyte motherboard I mentioned and it didn't work! but you know what! I fixed it right after I posted my question lol, I just attached it to the "rear pink in" jack, in the back of my pc which I previously did, but there's one thing I didn't do then and I found that on the master volum! I was lookin' for MIC on there but I couldn't find it, then again and after I plugged my mic to the rear pink jack I went to to advanced on the rear pink and checked the microphone boost and voila my mic works! and I can hear me singin' real nice with the HD audio on that gigabyte MB! man I love it lol thanx for your reply homie, I just wrote this for other people to read when they face the same problem! THUMBS UP

My mic worked fine with my old pc but I had to get me a new one and at first I couldn't find my way to make my mic work, but you know what! I fixed it right after I posted my question here lol.
well, I will say what I did just for others to fix it when they have the same problem, at first I was lookin' for MIC on the master volume and I found it but it didn't work with me, now I looked at the HD audio on my master volume window and I found many devices there, one of them was Rear Pink In which is the same jack I plugged my mic to, so I went to the advanced tab on the Rear Pink In and I checked the Boost Microphone, and VOILA my mic work and I can hear my sound clearly and even better than it used to sound on my old pc! the problem was so tiny lol
but thanx for your reply homie I really apreciate it
Test your microphone if it properly working. Go to Sounds and Audio Devices properties and then go to Voice Tab and then Test Hardware. If the computer does'nt hear anything then your mic is faulty.

I had tried to flash my Gb-k8vt800m board using @Bios and got a bootblock lock up. I had saved the original bios to a file on my desktop prior. I now have that hard drive as a slave in second identical board (wifes), and same identical computer and can see the new hard drives but, Can I restore the bios to the slave drive and use it as a master? It will only boot as a slave if I install it as a master the system wont boot. Regards, Alan moneyisbetter.com
