Start your windows from safe mode and then chose Administartor and remove all updateds from you windows and it will get back on working. and yes it would update it self afterwards and yes this must be done installing of good Anitivirus such and best as NOD32.

You should start it up in safe mode. To do this, you repeatedly press F8 as it's starting up, until you come to a menu of startup options where you'll see options such as safe mode, safe mode with networking, etc. Boot into safe mode. Once you're in safe mode, you can do lots of stuff like roll back the updates, disable certain startup services, etc.
