Problem for RCA M4304 Digital Media Player

RCA M4304 mp3 player wont charge even when plugged in

I bought a RCA M4304 mp3 player 15 days ago, and one day i forgot to charge it and the battery completely died. Now when i try to charge it nothing happens. Another interesting factor is when ever its not plugged in and i try to turn it on it briefly shows a "low battery" warning but doesn't when plugged in. Also my USB port and cable are working fine.

As long as your computer can see the player, it is likely the firmware has gotten corruped.

First, connect your player and back up any important media items that are on it.

Next, download and run the firmware installer from the RCA website:
