ACER ASPIRE 3680 LOOKS LIKE INK IS BLEEDING INK INSIDE OF IT..
I have a cracked acer aspire 3680 screen. It happened by me picking up the computer by the display and i guess pushing to hard on the screen and it cracked internally... Now there is a big blob on 75% of my screen and it looks like ink... You can also see little rainbow colored lines as well. I saw somebody on youtube change their lcd screen though... If i did the same thing they did will the lines and ink go away? Is that how you fix a defective screen? How much do acer lcd display run and how much are general service fees? Because what the man did on youtube looked like a farely easy and quick repair...

The cost of the screen and repair depends upon the size of the screen and how difficult it is to replace. You need to get a quote.

It indeed is a fairly easy repair in case of your Acer. However you will need a replacement screen which would cost a lot if you order it new. You might be better off searching ebay for a broken "donor" laptop (make sure it's exactly the same model, as even similar models with same screen dimensions might have different connectors or inverters - I learned the hard way ;)
