I can't get the subtitles off. According to the manual subtitles don't work in HDMI (which is what I use), however they are on and I when I push the "CCD" button like the manual tells you to, nothing happens. I have tried turning subtitles off in other modes and then switching back to HDMI, but nothing has worked so far.

I can't get the subtitles on. Although CCD button is working, the subtitles do not appear. I am trying in the major networks but i could not manage to make them on.

Do you have your manuel? Hit caption on the remote control and it will say off on the screen. Then click again and select CC1. Just make sure you are watching a program that has CC. Some shows do not have that. Try a major network.

Cannot get rid of sub titles on the TV the button that should remove them does not do anything

Subtitles are embedded in the program material. You may be seeing closed captioning (CC) which usually is enabled/disabled as part of initial set up.

The inside of my tv screen is cracked do you guys sales tv sceens if you do i would like to buy it please thank you

If it's an lcd, as your title describes, you might as well trash it and buy a new tv if it isn't under warranty. An lcd or plasma tv is nothing but junk after the screen is damaged out of warranty.

Subtitles will not remove from t/v even when subtitle button is pushed on remote control

The sub titles are being generated by your Cable box or the Sat box. Sub titles are generated from two different sources: Cable Box,Satellite Box,U-Verse Box etc.
Check the settings in those sources and make suer the sub title is turned OFF in the tv set.

Bought a 19inch LCD Insignia TV yesterday at Best Buy. Everthing works fine except the picture won't fill out the whole screen. Can't find anything in the menu to adjust this.

On you remote control or panel buttons press the menu button. Using you on screen menu, use the up and down arrows to find the Settings Function, use right arrow to enter sub-menu. Use the up and down arrows to find the aspect ratio setting. Use the right arrow to enter the sub-menu.From here you can change the picture setting to : Normal wide 1: Wide 2 : Zoom: Cinema. Once you found your preferred viewing picture, set you choice with the enter button. Then use the menu or escape buttons to close the on screen menu. I hope this helps you with your problem.

Sub-title does not appear.

It's called "closed captioning" and should be under the menu/setup button. Subtitles are only for DVD players.
