I have a canon powershot sd 1000 and the other day I was taking pics and screen display went black. I figured it was the battery, so i charged it and now only comes up with a white screen and the lens does not open when power up the camera. No noises either. So we put the battery back in the charger and it is red, signaling that the battery needs charging. Is this a battery problem or a camera problem
