This issue all depends on your s/p but if you have any songs in your window media player on your phone that you would like to make into ring tones you can go to your file management and copy and paste them in to your ring tone file or you can buy a ring tone app from hand mark inc online all depeding on your s/p

How to Activate internet settings for java applications in Nokia e72?

To activate internet settings for applications, you need to define an access point (or "Destination") in your E72. Here's how:

1) Open Menu by pressing home key.

2) Goto "Ctrl. Panel"

3) Select "Settings"

4) Select "Connection" tab.
5) Select "Destinations" option.
You will see different destination or access point types such as "Internet","Multimedia msg." and "WAP services" etc. Some java applications use standard Internet access points while some use WAP settings. To activate internet settings click on the "Internet" option. Then use your left soft key to open menu and select "New access point" to create internet profile for your applications. You can have multiple settings and order of the profiles define priority. (e.g. 1st profile in list will be used first and if not available, only then the 2nd will be used)

Hi I am Farah, and as I wanted to download java , it came thet" " is not valid win 32 application'. What shoudl I do? Thx

It is possible that you are attempting to install a 64-bit version of Java when you have a 32-bit operating system. Check your operating and confirm this. In Vista you can find this using Start > Control Panel > System. This is similar if you have Windows 7. Here is what it looks like:

pcjanitor.jpg
If after that you, you follow these instructions from Sun (Java) to locate and install the 32-bit version.

Error: x64.exe not a valid Win32 application This article applies to:
  • Platform(s): Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003
  • Browser(s): Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla 1.4+
  • Java version(s): 6.0
SYMPTOMS

While trying to install Java a user gets an error message similar to:
' ... x64.exe not a valid Win32 application'

CAUSE

The error message is a result of trying to install a 64-bit version of Java on a 32-bit operating system.
SOLUTION

User needs to install a 32-bit version of Java software, since a 64-bit version is not compatible with their 32-bit operating system.

Follow these steps to download 32-bit Java
  1. Go to Manual download
  2. Click Windows XP/Vista/2000/2003/2008 Online.
  3. The File Download dialog box appears.
  4. Choose the folder location.
  5. (Save the file to a known location on your computer, for example, to your desktop).
  6. Click Save.
  7. Close all applications including the browser.
  8. Double-click on the saved file icon to start the installation process.

How to enable javascript in nokia 6030

  1. Open the Nokia web browser.
  2. Navigate to a site that uses Javascript applications. You may see the error message informing you that Java is not enabled, and the website components won't work properly.
  3. Go to "Options," "General," then "Java/ECMA Script."
  4. Choose "Enable" to activate Javascript.
  5. Refresh the web page. If the Java elements of the page work, then you have been able to activate Javascript on your phone. Otherwise, troubleshoot the problem by turning the phone off and on, or checking for any web browser software updates. You may also want to check another Java based webpage to ensure that the problem is not with the page you are trying to access.

Applications are not opening, just shows a locked key signs on them, when opening get error of "Operation field"

Hi,its obvious from your problem that the applications you are trying to access on your phone are of a formatnot supported by your phone, only java based applications are supported by the w580i because it's a java enabled phone, other application formats won't run on the phone.
However, you can get java appllications for your phone at www.getjar.com all for free.
Thanks and take care

How do i get a handler on my lg rumor 2

Are you trying to download applications or ringers? If the error says "uncaught exception, need handler" you need Java which is not supported by the rumor 2.
