Question about Televison & Video
If your TV will come on then go off, go to the back of the tv looking from the top there are some small holes at the top, take some air in the can (Blast Away) you can buy this at office depot and clean the dust out of the fans that are just inside the holes. The TV knows that the fans are not turning fast so it shut down the TV. Take a look below!!!!!!!
I hope this will help you!

-Make sure all cords are plugged in tight
-try some different cords if you have some
-Try a different input on your TV and see if those flash too
-Try plugging in a different Video input Type (another DVD Player/Game System/VCR/Anything)... if it doesn't flash then you know it is the original item you have plugged in now....
Hopefully it is just the cord =)
