My computer keeps freezing randomly and I don't know why, it is windows 7(fresh install), it has OCZ 2 2gig rams, anthelon x2, msi motherboard, and a 9800 gtx+ geforce graphics card. I have also tried to download the latest driver but it still freezes.(Not a pre-made computer)

First I would try a different operating system to rule out Windows 7 as it is still fairly new and could cause issues. You can download e.g. ubuntu linux live cd and run it off the cd to see if your system still freezes. If it does then indeed you might have a hardware problem. Live CD usually contains memory test programs, you could try running that to check the RAM.
Have a look in the BIOS-it might be worth resetting the settings to default/failsafe settings.
If you still can't find any issues I would suggest opening the PC and checking for obvious overheating. Make sure all fans are spinning (check the one on the video card too) and remove any dust if necessary.
If all is in order, try swapping the video card (or removing it in case you have onboard one).
I hope you sort it out, it sounds like a nice system :)
Good luck,
Raf

ASUS M3N78-VM motherboard Problemes

Good Motherboard...BTW... Reset BIOS to Factory defaults. Make sure you have the latest BIOS as well. Then you need to eliminate the other devices. Try running just on the On-Board Video...see if crashes. Run w 2 Gig Ram...same same... and of course the processor which may be impossible. Once you know it is MB or CPU... you make a choice which to buy or test. MB first... you can always return with less stress.

My system randomly freezes.i`m using a gigabyte ma770-ud3 rev2 motherboard,with a phenomx3 black edition 8750,ocz 2g ddr2(x2)and a600watt psu.all of these are new.i am using a nvidia 7300le graphics...

This might take some time and would require some troubleshooting from your side.

Hardware related this could either be your memory, PSU or graphics card (sometimes the motherboard). perhaps by booting your PC without these components, replaced by other, to test if the problem relates to any of these devices.

Also look into your device drivers, install the new Nvidia driver for your graphic card as well as the chipset drivers for your motherboard.

Start by troubleshooting your hardware and post me back your feedback so that we can see where your problem lies.

Keep moving forward.

Windows won't load or instal

Freezing of computers occur mostly due to shortage of RAM. But in ur case, 1GB is quite enough for XP. Since ur computer is freezing b4 even starting up, thus it could be a problem of disk drives.check if more than 1 drive have been alloted MASTER (Primary) or otherwise same priority. If u have more than 1 HDD, then the one in which the Opering System is installed should be given the Master Primary and the other as Cable select/slave. Likewise do it for the CD/DVD ROM or RAM (the CD/DVD RAM should be alloted the master and ROM as the slave). It can be done by the JUMPERs on the back of the Drives. See the exact setup on the drive surface.
