the video tape tray will not close is is stuck out and it will not go back in.

The door to the tape will not close. it is stuck out it will not go back in and i cant figure out why. please help.

ApprenticeI have had the same problem...usually had success by taking off the battery, putting it back on, turning the power off and on, etc. It has always gone back in eventually. I also tried re-charging the battery and replacing. Could this be an old battery problem? Mine is 4.5 years old.
Can you Help with these Camcorders problems?

Same problem... door will not close. To send off to JVC would cost a minimum of $125 per Best Buy who is an authorized dealer. Very unhappy!!!!!!!!!!!
