printer is going through the motion of printing but the pages are blank
Comment by lschick, posted on Sep 16, 2008
All colors and black stopped printing even though the printer goes through the motions and cartridges are more than half full. The print job immediately before this happened was a page from the internet that had a lot of color images. I have tried cleaning the nozzles several times with no luck. Not sure what to do next.

I have fitted a full black cartridge into my Canon i320, however I cannot get the printer to print in black. Change typing to blue or another colour and the printer works.

Hi I've cleaned the cartridges. Refilled the cartridges and reset the chip. I put tape on the bottom to make sure it gets a good seal. I get blank pages.when I print something. It goes through the motions but no print on the page. I've cleaned it so many times I've had to replace the black cartridge.

MY R220 PRINTS BLANK PAGES ALSO. I TRY NOZZLE CLEANING MANY TIMES. REPLACE SEVERAL INK CARTAGES. STILL DO NOT PRINT.
I HAVE A SECOND R220; WHEN YOU SELECT PRINT ON MY COMPUTER, THE PRINTER ONLY SQUEALS.SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING IS STUCK.
