Usually there is a part called the heating element that causes the clothes dryer to heat up so the clothes dry. It is an electrical part, usually it is 220 volts, so unplug FIRST before worhing on it. Need to remove the back panel to access it. It's usually only about 20-30 bucks, most generic appliance stores will be able to sell you one. It's not a big deal to replace or time consuming but different makes place it differently.
check the heater pull one of the wires off and read out the heater with a meter if it's good read out the thermostats on heater box and on blower housing
