Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Dear Experts, I have a Legend, by ESTEY, organ that my late father gave me and i,m not sure if u all are good in this area, but my problem is, that the unit did sit for about a year and a half without use and now when i turn it on the read out does come on with some unledgeable,"to me" letters and such but non of the keys work or light. The power switch lights and the keyboard lights work and as i say the display does come up but thats it. I know this may be out of u,r area but i would appreciate any help or advice, thanks gang, peter
This happens when organ sits in none use state for long periods. My Legend was in storage from 2001 to 2004 and I had to call the Estey company to get "reset" instructions. I wrote them down as...."TO RESET---PRESS TRUMPET/TROMBONE BUTTON---TURN OFF---TURN ON---WAIT FOR "HARDWARE RESET" DISPLAY.
Hope this works for you.

Ithink you should disasemble the unit and then clen the contacs and corrosions on the main board of your organ and then check some capasitors if there are some leaky ones coz as youve said you havent used it for quite some time. e-mail me if there are some changes. ciao
