I can connect to the internet without any problems from my modem, however when I go to connect my router to the modem, the WAN light will not light up.
My modem requires crossover cables and will not work with a regular ethernet cable. Could that be why it is not working?

- I have a Comtrend DSL modem that requires a crossover cable to connect to the internet. It will connect perfectly when it is plugged into my computer.
I have a d-link DI-624 wireless router that I am trying to hook up.
When I connect the modem to the router via crossover cable I loose the LAN link light on my modem, and the WAN light on the router will not light up.
I've also put a crossover cable from my computer to the router, and I cannot get the local network lights on the router to light up.
What other details would you need?
Thanks!

- I contacted tech support and was told first you need to follow the step by step on their site to make sure that your setup are correct and then make sure that the cable connections are good and do not have issue at each end, the location of their set-by step located at http://support.dlink.com/emulators/di624_revc/h_wizard.html and let me know if the match your setups...

I have a wireless network that used to work just fine (PS3 and PSP). The router is a d-link AirPlus Xtreme G. But then I bought a laptop with Windows 7. I connected it to my wireless network, everything OK - but since then my PSP is not getting an IP-address from the router. I am confused. Does anyone know what to to?
