Question about Toshiba Satellite M45-S265 Notebook
I got a satellite m45 s265 it froze on my and crash after that. Then it didn't want to boot up so i took it apart and check everything is seated correctly (RAM and CPU) check all the cables if it was all connected. There was nothing wrong but some dust on my cooling fan. I removed it and put everything togther and it won't boot up. So I left it for an hour or two. And tried again, then finally it boot up and I was able to run a full check disk and let it stay on all nite that nite. I was still running the next morning, until late after noon when I tried to use it, scrolling around my desktop then my the cursor froze and the keyboard didn't work also. So i waited and it came back to life, then a few minutes later it jus shut off by itself. And i tried to booting it up again, but it wont. Before the I press the power button I can see the ac adapter and battery lite is on, and when i press the power button it turns on, I can hear my fan turning on and dvd drive checking for a disc and my hard drive clicking. Then after my hard drive clicked it jus shutoff again. And everytime I try to turn it on, the same thing happen over and over again. Any suggestion of troubleshooting this problem.
Here is what I have done so far:
I have tried testing the RAM and it works on another laptop.
Tried turning it on with no harddrive, same result.
Tried it with no RAM, same result,
Also tried with no CPU same result.
From my understanding the laptop should power up with no RAM and CPU is that correct?
I think its a bad CPU or motherboard.
Thanks in advance
