Denon AV Surround Receiver, AVR-1601/681. I heard a loud pop from the speakers as if you slapped a live microphone with your hand. After that, the unit turned off. When I press "On" on the remote, the screen on the front of the unit displays modes of choices("DVD", "TV", "Tape") just like normal when I start it up and then it shuts off just like pressing the off button on the remote. Is it worth reparing the unit? Can it be repaired? What's the likely component that failed?
