All of the sudden my console will not load my rock

When your PS2 starts getting finicky about what and when it plays, it's probably time to clean the laser lense. A relatively easy fix. MAKE SURE THAT THE POWER IS OFF AND THAT THE CORD IS UNPLUGGED! Take the screws off the bottom of the unit, open the casing carefully. Making sure not to pull on any of the ribbon conduits. Once opened, the DVD tray is now exposed. Take the 4 screws off of the top of it and clean the laser gently with a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol. Reassemble and try it out. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Good luck!
