I have a UMC 19 TV/DVD Combi but the DVD player has stopped working. It pulls the disc in but says ''No Disc'' and then immediately ejects it out. I have cleaned the heads but this made no difference. You can't hear the dvd wind up or anything - only the motor pulling the disc in and pushing it out. I wonder if you can offer any advice please?

Sounds like the carriage mechinism internally is out of time, or the laser optics is defective.
