Question about HP DeskJet 970cxi InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Printed paper does not completely eject.

Every printed page gets crumpled as the print head repositions to print the next page. The printer does not completely eject that first printed page.
I miss not being able to use this printer. HELP, please.

Sounds like you've got dirty rollers or paper chips stuck in the rollers. You'll have to inspect and remove what you find. You may use a rag with rubbing alcohol to clean rollers that have become glazed with whatever they get glazed with...dried ink and such.

Printer has stopped printing in black

Car,
Remove the print head and cartridges.
Take 1 ounce ammonia to 7 ounces of hot tap water ,mix in bowl and let the head set in it for 30 minutes.
Ink ports in the solution.
Thoroughly dry the head and re-insert.
Do a deep clean and try again.
If that does not work remove head and spray some WD40 on the head eject nozzles.(head upside down)
Be careful not to get the WD on any rubber part.

This issues looking printer head problem. check the following Steps for cleaning printer head :

Click on the Start button if you have Windows XP. If you have Windows Vista, click the Windows icon that resides in the lower left corner of your computer

screen.

Click on "Control Panel," then "Printers and Other Hardware." Finally click on "View Installed Printers or Fax Printers."

Right-click on the name of your printer and choose "Printing Preferences." This should open a new window; next look for a tab or button marked Maintenance,

or something similar.

Find the button that says "Print heads" or "Clean the Print heads" and click on it. You may be asked to choose which print heads; choose them all if you are.

Make sure there is paper and ink in your printer, and that it is turned on ahead of time.

Take out the page your printer has printed and see if there are any grids or boxes missing. If there aren't, then you can just exit the program--your print

heads are not clogged. If there are grids missing, then click on the "Cleaning" or similarly worded button.

Once the cleaning process has completed, print another page to be sure that your print heads are no longer clogged. If they are still clogged, repeat Steps

1-5 until your printer is printing clearly.

When a page is completed the printer does not fully eject the paper and it and the next sheet gets crumpled and spoiled I am using hp deskjet 6122

Make sure the printer paper feed is not blocked with any paper. then check that the rollers are clean.

Also you need to make sure that the paper feed has the correct size settings (Usually a slide across guide labeled from a5-a4/letter)

When a print request is submitted, the printer appears to be printing but ejects a blank page

This is probably when the ink is completely dry or the printing head needs a total re-adjustment.
If you have noticed any fading in the prints of this printer before it started printing blank pages, then your printer is most probably suffering from a case of low printing ink and as a result, it would need to be replaced or refilled so as to enable the printer to function properly.
On the contrary, there is still a possibility that the printing head of the printer might have gone off the designated surface where it should be so as to endorse the prints on the paper.
If this is the case, you might need to call a technician to help you examine it carefully and put it back in place.
Hope this solution was helpful? Please comment for more information

There is a sensor that goes up when printing and should go back to its normal position after ejecting the printed page. Sometimes it get stuck, you can manually reposition that sensor. It looks like a small plastic lever and located where the paper is going out.

It crumples the paper up as well

This can be caused from one or more of the following:
1) Paper can go bad if not stored flat or for too long a time,
2) Could be a prior jam not cleared completely
3) Residue on roller(s) or damaged roller(s)
4) misaligned paper tray
5) Broken/Damaged component(s)
