Question about Soltek SL-K8AV2-RL Motherboard

I/O error This is the message I get:: G:\ is not accessible The request could not be performed because of an I/O error.... ___________________________ This is for a storage harddrive. I am running Vista Home.

    Okay my board has 3 ide and 2 sata. my c is sata my d with the error is
    sata my e is ide harddrive f is cd g is dvd h,i,j,k are flashdrives and
    card readers

There will be more than one connecter on the motherboard that the hd can be connected to. Older boards have 2 ide channels but as urs ins new it will be sata and have at least four of them :)

Try changing the cables and also a diff channel on motherboard. Failing that try the hd in a diff pc to see if its faulty.

I recently purchased a PNY 4 gigabyte micro sd card. When ever I try to open it though, an error message pops up saying that it is "not accessible" and that "the request could not be performed because of...

Take the card back to the retail store, and get a replacement for this "defective" card.

Or, get a technician at the retail store demonstrate that he/she can read the card.

put it to the card reader into the computer then copy all of the photos into the computer and the put it back into the camera and in the menu there is a function to format the card. That should work
