I am using the DVI input. This monitor worked fine for a year. Problem: 1.The monitor will not display the Windows desktop once Windows XP loads in normal mode. It shows ?No Signal?. 2. It will display the CMOS boot info and the Windows loading screen but then goes blank with the blue light changing to amber and the ?No Signal? indication. 3. It will display the desktop in safe mode. 4. Tried changing the computer resolution to 640 x 480 but this did not help. Troubleshooting: I own three identical monitors so I can do definitive side by side troubleshooting. 1. While this monitor fails to produce a display I can move the cable from its input jack to one of the other identical monitors. That monitor will produce a normal display. 2. I connected this monitor to another computer and it failed. I connected one of the identical good monitors to the same computer with the same cable and it produced a display I've sent it back to ACER twice. ( 70 bucks so far! ) They return it saying they can't make it fail.

I have both a PC and a DVD player connected to a Samsung SyncMaster 2033 monitor (through VGA and DVI, respectively). How do I switch between sources on the monitor? I'm sure this is a stupid question, but I bought an open-box monitor because I desperately needed a replacement, and it didn't come with a manual.

My 568 monitor keeps popping up a message box displaying resolution and sound volume. Seems to come and go as it feels! Manipulating buttons on the side of the monitor has sporadic effect. Faulty contacts somewhere? How can I get rid of it?!
