Problem for Motorola RAZR V3

No display

i went to use my mobile and found that i had no display at all i thought that it because of flat battery so i chargedd it but still had no display i tryed my battery on my friend's mobile and it was ok. So it's something wrong with the mobile.

kindly instruct me how to solve my problem.

-   send a text last night and during the message the screen went black. checked batterie and everything else. how that my phone be functioning again-   kirstenw
