I have cleaned the three heater plates (plaques) using compressed air and a clean toothbrush five times. The first two (left and middle) light and immediately start to glow. The third (right one) stays unlit but I can watch a blue flame flicker across the face of the plate and then "Boom!". I immediately turn of the gas. Any ideas?

I have a Charmglow propane wall heater. Five times I have used compressed air (as advised by manf.) and a clean tooth brush to clean the three ceramic plates but only two will ignite and glow, the third will stay unlit. I can watch a blue flicker flicker and then ''Boom!''. I immediately turn off the gas. I have called the manf. and they keep telling me the plate (plaque) must be dirty. Any ideas.

Pilot light goes off (or is snuffed out) when the flame of heater is shut off by the thermostat. I will have it on Setting 1 and the unit will burn normally for a minute or two. When the temperature rises and meets a certain setting on the thermostat, the unit shuts off like it is supposed to. However, the pilot light shuts off too. How do I prevent this from happening? I've vacummed and cleaned the unit for dust, etc. and the logs are positioned as instructed. I have a full tank of propane outside. What to do? Thanks.
